Description:
This is a mirror image of a neuron in culture. The neurons were expressing GFP in the nucleus. Neurons were extracted from Drosophila embryos and cultured for several days. Subsequently, the neurons were fix an stained with antibodies against microtubules (red), GFP (green) and synapsin (blue). The picture was taken with a florescence Olympus microscope.
